The day she graced us with her presence and her love.<br /> I was in labor for 15 hrs. of which the last 6 I was at 9 cm. and didnt progress. Since my labor started at midnight,and it was now 1 pm I was exhausted! The Dr. was talking about giving me some Pitocin to try to make things progress or else break my water.<br />My hearts desire my whole life has been to have a natural birth without any interference from people. I wanted God to direct my birth and me to just be the laborer. Craig and I dedicated our little girls life to HIM and knew that He would take care of her.<br />I remember at one point, standing in the birthing tub and the Dr. saying the baby was so low, she could see her and questioned me(you dont have the urge to push???)<br />Umm, I replied ( I dont know, I've never had a baby, but I dont think so...) haha, we all laughed ,and I was of course in between contractions to do so.<br /> Our options were dwindling down with baby girl not wanting to come out. Craig and I decided to get everyone to leave the room and take some time in prayer.<br />We asked God to be gracious and to do HIS thing.<br />You may want to know that everyone from my mother to husband and Doula all tried putting me in different positions to try to get my water to break. I was in bed, out of bed, squatting, standing, dancing and on my head...lol well sort of.<br />But as my husband and I lay there in bed praying, 5 min later my water just broke!!!<br />I wasn't moving or trying at all just laying there. I've never had such happiness then at that moment. I immediately had the URGE to push, which I now knew the feeling of, wow! When her head came out, I jumped out of the water and they had to make me sit back down. Its so intense.<br /> 45 min. later Stella-Grace Adair Cato was born at 2:01 pm at 6lbs 15oz. 20" long.<br />The water birth was incredible. What an amazing feeling and experience. I cant wait until I get to see my little bull dog face to face. We had a 4D ultrasound done a few days ago and our daughter has the most beautiful joules that are soo chubby they hang, and her lips look like she has a permanent pucker that is a far out as her nose, lol People may laugh at my little bull dog, but she is precious and gift from the Lord. Without him she would not have a life. She is a miracle to me! She is my first born daughter at heart. She came to our home when she was 7 months old. I remember the first day she was here. I gave her a bath with bubbles and she layed her head on my chest so trusting and content. God found a home for her with my family. I got married when she was almost 2. I now live in my own home through the woods from my parents, but she still spends half her time with me. She calls me mama, then laughs and corrects herself and says (I mean MiMi) giggle...</span></span></strong></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;color:#cc66cc;"><strong>My parents adopted her June 30th of this year and what a relief and glorious act it was. How thankful I am to the Lord. I would daydream about how it would be like if she were ever to be taken from us. I couldn't imagine. The pain that would hit my heart was horrible. Think about if your child was only your temporary and you didn't know if you would get to keep them forever or have them taken away at a moments notice? This happens in foster care situations. </strong></span></div><div><span style="color:#ffcccc;">How awesome is the knowledge that your child is permanently adopted and safe in your arms. No one can take them away.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:130%;"><em><span style="color:#6600cc;">How our Heavenly Father must feel when we surrender all to him and allow Him to adopt us permanently!What pain He must feel when we get taken away from him by estranged forces. He doesent know who is taking care of us or what will happen to us. Will our heart be damaged. Will we allow Him to fix it? That is if He ever gets to see us again. </span></em></span></div><div><span style="font-size:130%;color:#6600cc;"><em>What a glorious thing it is to be adopted by the King. Where we are safe, and don't have to worry about being led astray by others. </em></span></div><div><span style="font-size:130%;color:#6600cc;"><em>Thank you Jesus for loving us soo much that you allowed yourself to be brutally beaten and then died so that we can live with you and be owned by you.
